Nice shot. Probably would have been more dramatic if exposed for a longer time, allowing longer lines of light. Also, the other thing you can try is make the begining and the end gradual (not abrupt). To do that, cover the lens, fire the shutter (at B), very slowly uncover the lens; after the exposure is made, slowly cover the lens, and finally release the shutter. / suvro@suvro.com

An excellent portrait with shallow depth-of-field. The red fabric on the right side is definitely adding to the mood of the image. You may also try to put it through a diffusion filter effect; you may like it. Nice job. / suvro@suvro.com
