This is a terrific photo. I love the childlike innocence of this shot. It's funny it kind of captures my life about 15 years ago. It's great!

Super shot Scott! I love sillouette, it conveys such mystery and simplicity and lets the mind wander, the colors and timing are excellent, lets see more!

This reminds me of going fishing on Sundays, and how my youngest son never wanted to give up and leave. Who could blame him. You captured the mood very nicely.

Scott,

I like the way you set this one up. I wish you had titled it different, such as gone fishin' or something cliche'. Great colors with the sunrise/set in the background. Good job all around. (8)

Scott:
I hate leaving short critues, ie 'great shot', etc. That doesn't help you learn or improve. therefore I will say what I really think about your photo.
Great Shot!

Great original idea for a portrait. The colors and detail are magnificent. I like the decision to use the sunglasses for a dash of additional striking color. Great work.

Many thanks for your kind comments.
I suppose I`ll have to let you know whats going on,
I stumbled across these photographers one day while in town , they where trying to photograph some Scottish politicians.
You could say they were a pretty lazy bunch sitting down on the job but as far as I could make out they had been waiting all day for a shot.
I just happened to be there at the right time as they pointed their cameras upwards at the same time as the lady was walking by.

oh and not forgeting the pigeon who appeared on Q.
Many Thanks

I agree with everyone, love everything about this image - even the solitary pigeon feeding there ? specially the lineup of photographers and the woman?s expression and the angle. Humorous.

yes, I fully agree with everyone else. Not because of the right technical reasons though do I make this one of my favourites. But because I think I can always look at it, the expression on the womans face is wonderful! it makes me smile.

Great shot. Great composition. I love the "steps" created by the stone railings behind the photographers. The woman's expression is great. Just a bit suspicious. I can't help but wonder what they shooting?

Great how the directions work -- she's looking at them -- they're looking up and that draws us back to her. Very good and very humorous.
