Action well caught... How about having the camera upside down so as to not get the wheel shadow on the ramp.

It is an interesting shot. It looks as though it was taken at night with a light to illuminate the biker. I just do not like how he is a bit blown out. Interesting shot though.

While there may be a good shot here, the out-of-focus upper left is somewhat distracting.

Interesting, this angle makes the guy's hand look freakishly large though. ;-)

Ha ha, it almost looks like the one person is shooting laser beams from their eyes. I would prefer if so much of the roof wasn't visible, and perhaps if the other person where looking straight forward as nothing was going on too, instead of being slightly turned.

Great colours and excellent exposure.
I really like how the blurr has affected the people.
onto some technicals.
A pity about the lens flare cuased by the fire.but then if you compose a person in sillohette the centre of intrest would be lost.I suggest a lens with good flare resistance.
I think the ladder on the left could be cropped out.
great shadows.

I think it owuld be more the angle than getting close this was kind of big so you want to not get to close that you wont see the rail because the whole point of this shot was to show how big the rail was... and what abotu 200 speed film ???? I'm not into 400

Hi, first, the blurry could be the scan. I dunno about your question. You could use 400 film and increase the shutter speed. That would definitely help somewhat. I think that the idea for this shot is good, and the shadow and rider are awesome. I only wish that you had gotten WAY closer. I realize this may be a bit dangerous to do...but if at all possible, fill more of the frame w/ the rider, and the rail. He's so little back there...it'd be cool to see face detail.
Cheers, Marc

I need some help... does the rider look a little blury if so how can I help this... I always shoot at 90 or below in skate parks or at nite and durring the day 125 or a little higher with a flash, with 100ISO film. is there an apperture i would use to make things less blury???

Hi Ryan. You did a great job getting Kee Kee to stand out against the background. Now if you could just get her to look at you. But hey, kittens. They don't do anything you expect them to do, do they?

You caught the action well, i just think you could have composed this shot better, meaning, to many distraction , the bright light to the right and the person in the back ground, also the DOF. The only thing you can do with this now is to crop vertical abought an inch of the rear tire.

Nice idea. The light is really "hot" though, making the photo difficult to look at. I like the "fisheye" effect... might be more interesting if the subject was not dead center.

Altaf,

First of all, let me say that this is not a comment about the photo! I saw your comment, and have a question/favor....

Obviously, there are a lot of comments about this photo, and someone who's viewing it for the first time might not read all the way through them, to see your comment regarding banning everyone who posts here. I'm guessing, from your comment, that would mean that anyone who posted a comment about this picture would then be banned.

Is it at all possible to stop future viewers from posting comments, then? It would seem unfair if people who posted one message here would be banned because someone else posted a message... especially if they haven't seen your comment.

I don't know if this is something that can be done, but if it is possible to block comments, I know I would appreciate it (so that I don't get banned because someone else comments).
