Almost human! Looks like he is asking you a question, wonderful shot

Love this. Well framed (pardon the pun) and striking colours

A little hot to the left but a beautiful capture. Is that a tear on his cheek, what a tender moment

Ronny, this has enormous emotive value, you can feel despair.

Magical colours, beautiful expressions of motion, an overall calming photo. That takes work!

A great use of space within the frame. I also like the ghostly effect created here, maybe just a touch slower? say 1/15? The exposure for the lights is spot on and the blues are very complimentary

Nice to meet you! An effective and reasonably dramatic shot with your hand the way it is. Expression is calm and relaxed, hard to do with self portraits. Don't be afraid to sharpen things up a bit with PS!

The composition and framing is excellent, you get a very good beach feel to it. The softness and moire effect is a little disturbing. I would try to use a focus or sharp effect a little more than moderately as scanning is never great unless you have £1000's of pounds to spend on a scanner!

OK, I have a very good reason to love this photo. When my mother-in-law was pregnant with my wife, she and her husband were watching a surf movie where Dana Point was being filmed. They loved the name and subsequently named their daughter, my gorgeous wife, Dana! Now, about the photo. Very stark colours are very attractive and the contrasts are great. I like the dramaic sky but I feel the foreground lets you down a bit. More contrast there perhaps.

Baaaaaaa! Very cute although some more light on there faces would have been effective.

While I appreciate your comments, DO NOT leave messages on my photos asking me to view your portfolio. You will find that this just annoys people, me especially.

A busy shot that tells a good story. A lot for the eye to take in and a pleasant experience when it does.

Angle is perfect, the cobble stones add real texture and I have to think about the person making this a great shot.

He has many many stories to tell as well. I get the sense he is a happy man, you have captured that happiness very well, to his core.

That eye! The colours surrounding her are great, you are drawn to her eye so well. Thanks for your comments. The EOS1V is 'water resistant' - kind of! Although I'm not going to test it. The lens? Not so water resistant... : )
