The subjects are well captured, in a pose that's particularly meaningful for a photo-critique site. The background detracts a bit from the image, due to its brightness and several intrusive elements, such as the bright spots that seem to be emanating from the photographer's index finger, and the bright square behind the model's head. It makes the point that backgrounds are as important to a composition as the primary subjects.

Very expressive eyes. And I love the fingertips in there. They add so much character to the image.
My only nit to pick (and it's easily fixed) is that you have some edge marks along the bottom and right that could be cropped.

after thinking about this one, i'm sure she was reading a sign... but at first glance..it just looks like she is sticking her butt up in the air. maybe if the sign was in view it would have had more impact. but i love the tilt and the tone! good job otherwise!

Beautiful expression, neat composition. Clean light too. Nothing absolutely new, but portraits are about people and in that sense, this succeeds to show me more than just his face. Regards.

Nice starlett quality to this photo. I'm not sure about the tonal color. I don't dislike it. Gives it more of that "candid" quality.

The background is fine, it provides a sense of place. The blank white sky is a little distracting, however. Maybe some of it could've been avoided with a vertical crop of the subject and eliminating some of the sky. The man's expression is natural, but it bothers me that I can't tell if one eye is closed. Focus is good.
