Jymmie, What a wonderful shot! I love your choice of composition, not your same-old-same-old centered flower. The lighting is also perfect, I like the way you used it to add just a hint of shadow. And as, John said, the black bg evokes a sense of depth, as well as setting off the white. Good work, I look forward to see more of your work.

The graduation of color from dark black to the splended yellow, to the orange reflection is stunning! I love the addition of the city, mountains and dotting of lights. You picked the perfect time to shoot.

Wonderful shot. Excellent capture of the water, I can almost smell it. I love the bright colors on the chain.

What a beautiful scene. Great job catching the mirror of sky in the water, it's so dramatic.

I'm really surprised you've not gotten more comments, what a wonderful shot of light. The comp is perfect a using the curving road draw us in. The light reminds me of the sheer under part of a ballerina's skirt. I think this is wonderful!

Linn, all your flower photos are lovely. This is my favorite. The composition is very pleasing, with a nice dof, and you caught the sun just right.

Precious, the photo alone is wonderful but the non-intrusive addition of mom kissing the baby adds another dimension. Well done!

Stunning. The pastel colors plus the bg do an excellent job of making the butterfly stand out, and he backlighting makes the wings transparent.

Karen, Good to see you posting again. I really like the softness of this shot, it goes well with the pastel colors and is a great way to showcase and Easter portrait.

Wonderful lighting, textures, color and comp. I like that you did not center the door, but used the pot to set the door to the left side.
