Probably your most interesting composition. My best advice at this point is to shoot anything and everything. Selfs are a good part of photography, but you don't want to make it the cornerstone of what you're doing.

Bit of a snap shot I'm afraid! Lots of harsh light and dark shadows - ditracting background features don't really add to the image. Could fill flash to remove the shadows and zoom in a bit more to produce a more blurred background. Great to see you getting into it - can be facinating and very consuming. Very good rose, it could be called great just if the lighting in your hand was better, and maybe you can fix your camera somewhere to make your hand free ;)

I do not go to the current post page very often (In fact... tonight is the first time I have been there in...hmmm.... 4 years) I read your bio. Do NOT look at my photos to learn something... there is nothing there to be had. I am not the person you need to study. I offer you this simple bit of advice... shoot what you like and share what you enjoy. Stay true and honest to yourself. Do not try to emulate or copy others. Just shoot and share... and you will do just fine.

I love taking pictures so much, so I dicided to get myself a perfessional camara, but I think if someone loves taking pictures they don't need a perfissional camara, with a simple camara you can realy take good pictures.
I've seen your profilio I realy liked your pictures and they are wonderful, keep on practecing with your small camara and every moment you capture enjoy doing it.

I agree, Lovely day and lovely you.
My girlfriend is from Portland and we went to visit last September. We had beautiful weather the whole week. It was very nice.
