I see what you mean, I have only looked on an LCD screen. I guess the best thin to do would be for me to print the image and see if it's how I would like it to be. Then again, not all printers are the same either :)

Still, thank you for your comments as they have made me think about the image and how others see it.

Thank you for your comments, However I think that if I were to make the image lighter so that the things in shadow were more detailed and visible, it would take away from the overall atmospehere and also be untrue to the actual place photographed which was very dark (you can see I used a 30 second shutter speed to take the image). Of course, brightness could be down to actual moitor set-up, so I'll look at the photograph on another screen to see if it looks the same to me.

Almost 200 views and only 1 comment, so thank you Michele :) I guess that means everyone must like it, or hate it lol.

Did you notice her foot behind her head?

It's true about the busy backgrounds. There's actually someone behind the hood looking at the engine. I had to wait for him to bend down enough not to see him to take the shot. I was lucky really, could have had lots of people walking in front of the lens too.

I like the picture, but it would be better if the whiteish spots on the cars wing (may be dust) weren't there.

Thank you very much for your kind comment. It is actually my Fiancee and I, and we do have a copy of it hanging in the front room.

Fantastic vision, I always wondered what those stretchy bands would be good for.

Obviously, the technical side is excellent, but it is the unique idea that made me want to look at this image.

Very cool image. It reminds me of movie posters. I think it would have looked just as cool if it had been left un-posterized too because of the style of the image.

Really nice picture, reminds me of Baywatch, but its just because of the colours and the location. Though thankfully the Hoff doesn't make an appearance ;)

I really do like this picture, and didn't even notice the dust spots until I read the other comment. I'm not sure if I agree about cutting the bottom off, just to make it more panoramic though, to me it's framed nicer as it is because I like the depth of the sand that you can see. Great pic.

Everytime I see a long exposure photograph, it reminds me that I really need to get out there and try more for myself. This image has certainly done that, I love the mood and the contrast between the shaprness of the stones and the softness of the fog looking water. Fantastic.

I adore pictures like this, I hope to take some someday when I find a nice bit of scenery. I love the way the sea becomes smooth where the shutter is open longer than the waves stay in one place.

Don't suppose there's any chance of getting the shutter and aperture off the image and posting them up? Did you use an ND filer or anything like that?

Either way, great photo.
