This is a very strong shot,the soft colour combination of heather and clouds plus the warm light on the rock-Perfect!
I'll be on Dartmoor in september,all I'll have to do is persuade my brother- in- law to drive me up to the Tors at dawn!

Superb shot,I love the subtle colours.I'm not so sure I would have included quite as much of the foreground path although,at the same time ,the colours do combine very well with the soft colours in the clouds.Altogether a fine landscape.

This has to be one of the best (IMHO) shots in your portfolio. Difficult to decide which one is my favorite, but this one is right up there on the top of my list. The compositions in your shots are close to perfection and I am finding it difficult to think of just the right adjectives to describe how the colors, lighting and details that you manage to capture make me feel. What an outstanding eye you have for just the right shot! I'm certainly looking forward to many return visits to your portfolio.

Breath-takingly beautiful. Outstanding composition. Really like the way the flowers echo the colors in the rocks, the sand, and the sky. Award is so well deserved and your portfolio has been a real pleasure to look through. Going back in and comment on some of my favorites.

Wow, wow, wow!! Into my favorites it goes... love the perspective with the wide angle which emphasises the length of the penninsula... very nice. Colors are magnificent, although I almost wonder a little tiny bit what it would look like with a wee bit less contrast. The colors and shapes of the landscape and the flora are just sensational and all is balanced well against the cloud formations. Beautiful, beautiful work, Richard. 7+++

Congrats. on a really brilliant seascape- Fantastic foreground!Your advice to Ian on using the unsharp mask was a revelation; when you say at a 100% you mean 500 which surprised me but when I tried it out it really does work very well.
