Such a wonderful image Dana. The tones are perfect. The pole serves as such a great anchor for the overall image. This is excellent.

Man, a scene like this is just what Velvia is made for. Such great colors. Excellent exposure to keep the detail in the shadows. God how I wish I was there. Are you sure you and Dana don't need a porter or something? I work for cheap.

Beautiful colors and lighting. The exposure is just perfect. The details are excellent as well. Very nicely done.

Great shot John. The image conveys a wonderful sense of quiet. I like the detail you caught on the ground with the driveway. The subtle outline of the driveway really enhances the overall composition. Very nice job.

This is such a cool image, I can't describe it. I'm transfixed by the star trails. Wonderful work Don.

Excellent decision on the development. The grain really enhances the sensuality of the image. If Karen isn't a professional model, she ought to be. She's a natural in front of the lens. Very nice work.

No kidding with what Aiman just said. This is absolutely brilliant. EC material if you ask me. Beautifully crisp and the colors are awesome. God I wish I could pull off something like this. Wonderful work.

Karen, another wonderful image. The lighting and the slightly soft focus are real assets to the atmospherics of this image. I don't agree with the earlier critique about the pose. I think it conveys a sensual, sphinx-like quality to Diane. Great work.

BTW, thanks for all your kind comments on my work. I hope you don't mind that I added you to my friends list. I just love following your work.

I think of the two, this is the stronger. I think the contrast is bit too strong in the desaturated version. I think a bit of darkening of her cheek might improve this a bit more but its still quite nice.

Aiman, this is an absolutely stunning image. Its real strength is simplicity of composition. The placement of the doorway and man is absolutely perfect. The textures are wonderful too. This is an image I'd happily keep in an honored place on the wall.

I agree with Rachelle's point. That woman's face just leapt out of the image. Its absolutely great. An excellent contrast to the uniformity of the others in the image and a great anchor for the image. Wonderful work (yet again) Darrin.

This is a great street shot Monica. The placement of the woman and young boy in the left foreground is an excellent anchor for the whole image. Just wonderful work.

This is a wonderful moment you captured here Reidar. I have to agree with Paolo's points, however. I think a tighter crop around their faces might solve the problem with the lack of separation of the jacket from the background. This is an excellent image, however.

Damn, it must have seemed like heaven to see a couple of happy little kids after such a scary adventure. It's too bad about the leg of the one boy but its still an excellent image. I like the candid nature of the image a lot.

I'm in complete agreement with Aiman on this one. The composition and the DOF couldn't be better. I'm not a huge fan of using Velvia for portrait work but its worked very well here. Excellent job.

Good decision on your part to use a close crop on the boat. The colors are marvellous, especially set against the dark green of the water. The shot seems the tiniest bit soft but not to a problematic degree. I have a feeling the boat may have been a fair distance from you when you got the shot.

Very atmospheric image. The exposure is excellent and I love the level of detail you caught in the reflections. Just great. Looking forward to seeing more of your work John.

Wow the soft tones really work so well in this image. The detail is also marvellous. I like the decision to go B&W here because the tonality really stands out. Excellent work.

Hey I know that town Nicely done especially with the late afternoon light falling down over the buildings. Very nice sharpness as well. Taken from the Hancock?

Wow, that long exposure really added some dynamism to this image. Looks as if the ferris wheel is about to spin off its axis! The details are just magnificent.

Very nicely done. The colors are great and the trees to the side frame the image very nicely. I agree with Don about the placement of the road but its strong as it is.

I really like all three of these still lifes. This and the third one are the real keepers in my mind, although this one is the strongest of the three. I like the light coming through the weave of the chair back here. Where did this idea come from? I can't tell you why but the chair seems perfectly in place here.

Wow Dana, this shot is truly a mind-blower. I can't think of a thing that ought to be changed or reconsidered here. The composition is absolutely perfect. B&W film is just made for shots like these, don't you think? Great work.

Indeed Ray, a very nice portrait. You hit the nail on the head with the DOF. The diffuse lighting is also a strength in the image. Well done.

Actually, I'm not sure Alisa is right here, much as I generally trust her judgments. I think she got tripped up by the angle of the reflecting light on the water. I think its a really nice image and love the streaks of color on the water. Maybe I've been missing your images but its been a while since I've a contribution of yours on here. Nice to see your work again David.

I love the effect the Holga gave to the sky. Its a nice simple composition with great tone. I just gotta get me a Holga and starting playing around with it. I just love the images that these cameras make.

What is this little porthole we are looking through? I'm curious to know what it is. I like the simple direct composition of this. The contrast between the red and the blue is very nice.

Excellent perspective. This kind of shot seems perfectly made for a wide-angle lens. What I really like is the way the lines from the right coverge on the structure on the left and give the eye something to draw it across the image. I also like the wonderful detail you caught in the foreground. The colors are fantastic.
