Sarah,
I think your on the right track here but feel a little short on the exposure time. Maybe 30 sec longer would have done nicly here although the highlights would have blown out you could have captured more detail in the shadows. Also watch your horzion as its tilted a bit to the left.
The image is a little soft but that could be related to the scan not the actual shot. I have been meaning to get to the lake front to get some shots there.
Nicely done and keep shooting.

welcome to usefilm sarah.. nader.. you are not related to Ralph are you? the photo is a little soft.. but i can see your goal and i see concentric circles.. and foamy effect on water. look forward more postings from you.. i do have a couple of streams i shot including fountains using long term exposure.. please look when you find time and give your valuable comments..

Beautiful work sara... nice long exposure using the bulb... wish if it were a little bit sharper, and may be try cropping the hot spot on the left side... I took the liberty to crop it into a sqaure and show you my humble suggestion.
