Nice shot, a very interesting old structure. I think this would be more interesting with 2 suggestions: a closer crop right around the building itself and boost to contrast to really bring out those shadows and highlights even more.

so sorry...as a cat lover...I can imagine the emotions...this is a wonderful angle that the shot was taken at...good color and good composition...I'm not one that is bothered by centered subjects and in this case the cat seems to be parting the grass as he moves forward...yes it is a bit soft, but perhaps most appropriate for the time...
