Jose,

Nice capture of the crescent moon and earthshine. Good composition. Here are two of my captures of the crescent moon: http://www.usefilm.com/image/106679.html and http://www.usefilm.com/image/304681.html .

Graeme,

Interesting composition. Looks like you captured the domiciles of three classes of people here.

Jeanette,

Interesting stencil. The rust and weathered texture make this image.

Gabriele,

Great composition. Almost looks like the moon bounced off the hill leaving behind a dust cloud...

Pierre,

So that's how they get those new hair styles, by biting and tearing hair off ones head. A playful image...

Mick,

Nice composition. A faster shutter speed at that aperture would have probably given you better contrast on the moon and a deeper shade for the sky. This is still an excellent capture, though.

Bhaskar,

Lovely composition. Good work.

This scene screams for a large format image... a 4x5 on Velvia maybe...

William,

This once powerful diesel is now relegated to the rust heap. The subdued tones match the poor outlook for this abandoned locamotive.

Ron,

Do you mean the November 8, of 2003 eclipse? Here are my takes on that eclipse: http://www.usefilm.com/image/243928.html http://www.usefilm.com/image/243288.html .

Pretty good for such a short lens. Maybe a touch overexposed.

Erin,

That is not the sky, but an upper story of the building. The contrast is what drew me to release the shutter.

Jeanette,

Very interesting and unique series. The subject matter is very appropriate for the process. The final result on the web looks like an ancient photo that has been around.

John,

I love the model's expression. If this is an available light image, the the softness that most are attributing to focus is probably due to the exposure length. It could also be due to downsampling the image. I usually run most of my images through a sharpenning filter after downsampling them for the web.
