Harry,
This is one of the best moto action shots I've seen. a big part of the intrest for me is you can actually see the riders eyes.

nothing like a power wheely out of an apex to get the blood pumping

thank you for sharing

Naren,
Great colors, and detail. I have never tried any long exposures. this makes me want to try it. only thing i see is it is slightly tilted to one side (VERY slightly).
Thank you for sharing.

Howdy Brandon,

Not a bad shot, just wish there wasn?t so much empty space above the subject and that the feet did not get cut off. Also more of a composition question then critique, would it have been more or less effective to leave more room leading the subject (to the left)
I enjoyed your portfolio.
Thanks for sharing

Chris,
Good to hear from you. now that you mention it the two flowers do blend together to much. I have to teach myself to be more aware of whats around (in front and behind of) the focal point in a photo. as far as clarity and depth goes this scan doesnt do the print much justice still trying to figure that one out.

thank you for your time

Tenuis,

I like the flower. I only wish the whole flower was in focus (looks a little soft to me). I think just a stop or two more would have given a little better DOF and still kept the back ground soft.

Carole,

Tough shot to get becuase of the very dark shadows, I wish I could see more of the detail of the church. Besides fill flash is there any way to better balance very light to very dark parts of a photo? I know it (fill)would not have changed things in this shot becuase it looks like you where a good distance away. I do like that you got the people in the door arch.

Gail,
Good Photo, all the elements tell a story. I would only stopp down a few stops to increase the DOF so the story elements are all sharply focused (the basket, stool/bench on steps and person. Only my opinion for what its worth. but a very nice shot non the less.
thank you for sharing

Taras, I love 6x6 images, just got an old beat up yashicamat 124G but it still works great. I like this picture a lot. Only thing I might have done different is a little less water and a little more sky to move the horizon out of the center of the frame. Well done and thank you for sharing it.

Randy,

I like the colors, Did you take any other shots of this to experimenting where the light is coming from. something about the shadows throws me a little. I like the idea of the strong shadows. If the light was more towards the center of the items (where you have it but a little more to the left). What would that do to the shadows?

Thank you for sharing your Photo

Paul,

I love pictures that capture a small part of the whole, we tend to see everything in it's entirety and miss out on some interesting details. Tough to get bright reflections and black to come out well. but nicely done. Question from the amateur that I am. If you stop down and use fill flash Would it balance out the exposure in a shot like this?

good job,
Rich
