Ana, you must not have ever met my cat then! He's a little beast alright...he's partly feral (we adopted him after he had been rescued as a little gy from a feral cat colony) and he's a psycho kitty! I love the little guy, but he's a killer. All the small creatures around my house have perished...he even attacks my (unmoving) arm when I'm sitting and reading a book just to show his love!

WEll, maybe not technically fabulous, but I really think you captured his personality very well -- looks like a plucky one! My favortie thing about this is the books in the background & the way they go against his diagonal pose. Very fun & original!

Hi, Laura. While I can appreciate your love of elephants, you have me wondering a bit as to its role in this image. Angular cropping can be effective but as used here does not strengthen the image as a whole. The wheeled cart is a bit hot on the wheel and tends to distract more than support the subject. Please forgive me if I have missed the boat on critiquing the image with respect to the Project subject matter. Thanks for sharing your image with us.

Really nice job with the crop and the depth of field here, Laura -- they're both really exceptional. The tones aren't ones I'd use, but I like the way you've used them and think you've made a wonderful portrait!
