Yes isolation is difficult, in this case I had to create my own isolation. You can see the before shot on my website: http://www.rstaeckphotography.com/#/gallery/retouching-and- image-enhancement/sst-before/

This is a B-17, some day if I find myself flush with about $450 I'd like to fly in one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B-17_Flying_Fortress

In most US air shows that do what is called the "Heritage Flight" where they mix the old and the new so yes there is a Warthog, F-16 Viper, F-22 Raptor, and a P-38 Lightning - Here they are just breaking off after their last pass

Thanks for looking Brendon and your historical knowledge you bring some interesting facts. I believe this was the only plane salvaged and at VERY GREAT expense and difficulty, I can not imagine the cost of recovering a B-17. I will be posting more Glacier Girl photos in the next few days. Hey Paul, thanks for looking and taking the time to comment. I hear what you're saying about the "red glow" but I have it there by design, I personally love warm tones in portraiture and here it balances a sense of place with the background. shalom Robert

Jolly bit of confusion I'd say ;} The "dry water residue" was intentionally added to give a clean digital photo a more "authentic" feel. Thanks for looking. Cheers
