you have a wonderful composition that allows the eye to move across the arc formed by the flowers...exposure on your bee is good, while the flowers appear slightly over exposed...the image is a bit soft but not to the point of distraction...in my opinion, if you have the composition down, the technical is easier to work on...not everyone has an eye for composition as you have shown it so well here

very nicely done...beautiful wood that lends itself to warm lighting as you have done here...might make a suggestion to take out the corner directly above the elbow or at least lighten it down some...might try smoothing out the colors on the image right against the leg too...good subject for the experiment with light

sharp and detailed with excellent light and exposure...one suggestion...the very bottom has a rectangular piece with what looks like a date on it...I might crop up just above it...I think it might tend to distract the viewer...excellent dof and textures well captured

this is quite a humorous image and one that can tell a story on it's own..is it a mystery? just wondering where the poor fisherman is...good light and composition ...could stand to be just a bit sharper

I love tight crops...just a hair more dof on this and it would be perfect...just enough to grab that eye super sharp...the color and exposure are good...all that grass around her beak is an added little bonus

an excellent composition...beautiful tropical colors from the one island I have not yet visited (next on my list)...you have achieved a beautiful dof, just wish it could have gone just a bit deeper in the flower...but I do know how difficult that one is, clarity is excellent and presentation good

recentley I have seen a lot of dunes pictures and usually there is no sky in them...but that is exactly what I like about this one...the black and white conversion is excellent showing good tones and excellent contrast...the composition is beautiful taken from a good angle and your exposure is such that you managed to keep some detail in the foreground shadows...BTW...the light is beautiful!

I think you got the important part of the picture and that is the beautiful, soulful face on this guy...composition with paw up front is perfect...detail excellent...I also think this is worth the effort to deal with the exposure problem...here is a quick and dirty of my suggestion...

a beautiful composition, especially like the golds that stand out against the blue in the water and they way the red dominates its tiny little area of the palletimage is a pleasure to view...only one thing could make it better and that would be just a bit more detail on the whites

Blue sky, snow and sun often make winning combinations as here...I might consider cropping off the left a bit to just in front of the deck...that would keep the viewers eye from drifting away from the foreground trees...good exposure and detail

a very magical feel with rich colors and good detail in the foregound ...the sky is beautiful, but the toning is off...I would expect to see the green in the foreground more muted for a sky that color...composition is excellent and presentation perfect

I can see where this might be a good image if we could see it as it was taken...you mention having a scanner problem...but I can see the composition and the stream of light from the vehicles...also you have the flare of the street lights... no need to apologize....

this does have some potential...especially if you are willing to do some post work...while parts of this are busy (especially the immediate foreground), the eye does remain fixed on the bike...but I would think just a bit of careful cropping and perhaps some toning on the war side...a light sepia perhaps, would give it more of a vintage feel to go along with the bike...the red and the green do take away from the bike...just my two cents...but if you do any post work, this is a great candidate
