nice and sharp and clear with excellent detail and exposure...just wish you had the rest of that right wing...but oh it is sharp and detailed....

This is nice and sharp and clear...I think I might convert this to black and white and go from there with a bit of selective toning

your exposure was great...details in the feathers show and the snow is well exposed too...wish for a bit more light in the eye...a good composition and a good capture

this is a grat image Jim...I have never been there for the sunrise but i have been to the top and you captured that crater well...I love the clouds below the mountain top and I love lens flare...it just seems so appropriate for the image...good color and composition

an excellent composition...like the fading sunset colors in the background...seems to be a good place to rest the eye...sharp, detailed and good framing...you managed good exposure despite the low light...excellent

Hi Lori...very behind in my commenting so I am trying to catch up...

The image of the Hawk is great...sharp and detailed with a good pose...though I would have liked a softer background with a bit shallower dof...my only nit is the framing here...it just pulls the eye away and off your subject...I'd be tempted to go with something much thinner and more neutral

a little less at the top and this is perfect...could sharp, detailed candid...and once again I'd be so tempted to go with the black and white just to keep focus on the moment...

an amazing image Jon...I think we tend to forget the small miracles as they grow...look at the size of the head in proportion tothe hand...a very high impact image...I'd be tempted to try it in BW for one reason...take away all the color and you are left with the emphasis on the hed the hand and the tiny miracle...excellent image...

nice sharp detail in the center of the flower..an enlargement of that area might be good...compositionally I think you could use just a bit more room on the sides and perhaps the bottom...colors are bold an bright and presentation with black enhances the image

I have no problems giving this straight 7's...the image of the bird is sharp and the colors and post work serve to enhance the image to an artistic photograph...beautifully rendered and a joy to view...

Composition and colors are good, but would sure like to know details, once again...that's howmany of us learn...would also love to see original of this as photo

wonderful toning and excellent post work retaining the colors...I knew the camera before i saw it ...it really has it's own look and feel...the composition is good and the expressive eyes are fantastic...I might try a crop, cropping just up to her little finger...excellent image

I really like the post work on this image...good detail captured and presented by fading out the edges...excellent image

composition is good...just a bit more depth is needed as you begin to soften up towards the background, especially the bridge of the nose...the jewelry appears to have captured a bit too much light tones are good and clarity is good

this is such a good composition...with good tones...I think the lighing could have been just a bit better...but knowing how hard those dark faces are I think you did well...i love the detail of the wiskers and i love that you got both eyes...an excellent image...

sounds like you have fun in the darkroom....I like the tones and clarity of the peppers...I can't say that the scratched look adds a lot to the image, though i understand the framed look, I do think it detracts from your main subject...

just curious...but how come you left a "?" with no comment, on my image "Into the Light" ?

an excellent image with good color...good depth...at first i thought the image was tilted, but i see it is only the shack as your horizon is nice and straight...an excellent capture of the sky

an excellent composition, I imagine that this image is better in person than uploaded...here it appears a bit soft, but between scan and uploading tht is bound to happen...the lighting in the upper right is a bit out...but the depth here is quite good...a nice meandering composition with a good perspective

the dof and clarity on Sanjoob is excellent....however, the cage and the background distracts from the wonderful detail you have captured in his face...

an excellent image with very good lighting...you captured highlights in the hair whithout blowing them out...I like that you still see detail on the image left side in the shadows...good composition with excellent clarity and detail...wonderful tones...

A beautiful capture of the egret complete with breeding plummage...the reflection is excellent showing just a few ripples...the exposure on the bird is a bit hot, lacking in detail...but these guys are hard to get exposed just right...however, the composition is stunning...especially with the reflection and some gentle background that fades to dark...

FOR AS CUTE AND CUDLEY AS THESE GUYS APPEAR YOU SURE CAPTURED A GRUMPY LOOKING ONE...DID YOU WAKE HIM?...THAT'S WHAT HE REMINDS ME OF...EXCELLENT BLACK AND WHITE TONES ...GOOD DETAIL (sorry about the caps...)

That's quite a control you have over the dof there...excellent composition and a very natural image...good, simple presentation...good detail where it should be

the wall and the window have so much detail, texture and color, that I wonder about cropping a bit off the bottom so that there are just enough branches to show snow, but so that the eye remains on the detailed wall...

you are quite good at capturing animals...good exposure and detail and a super dof...giving all the detail to the face...an excellent image

I love it this way too...I have two "Beauties" sleeping on my desk right now, mine are 10 year old males...and I do find that in order to capture the Siamese colors, I often over expose the background...beautiful detail and a beautiful pose

a good composition ...a slight bit of artifacting around the head...but you caught a good pose of the white crowned sparrowtip to tail...

Good execution on this...the black and white is perfect for the subject...and your added comment about being "out of tune" makes it all work

a beautiful and warm image...good depth and good exposure...the only thing you might want to do is correct the horizon by a degree or so clockwise
