An old friend of mine once said to me as I was bragging about something, Jimmy, " Even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a awhile". That applies here ;-)
Thanks fro your comment. I am trying to catch up a bit today

You may think it's not too hot Jim but I think it's stupendous. To catch a butterfly in flight like this is beyond incredibility. Super fast shooting. All I can say is EXCELLENT!!

Gorgeous Jim, so glad you didn't have your extra 'cuppa' the detail and the colours give it a real 3 D effect, wonderful the way it just comes alive.

Nice shot Jim he looks like he was on the move.
In many cases the coyote can be like the king fisher, if the hunting is good in the area you found him he will create a route and revisit it many time before moving on.
Unless disturbed.
For some coyotes just the presence of man is enough to disturb them, depending how many times they have been shot at.
I worked a coyote Friday for about 5 hours. After observing him for a while thru my binoculars I was able to go the where he would be before he got there.
A very smart a animal they are, they are survivors for sure.
Nice capture Jim.

Hi Jim,

WOW...what a great photograph, beautiful!
He has his eye one something for sure.

Interesting how his silver fur blends so well with the silver in some of the foliage, what a great shot!

Good job,
