A nice macro, with nice colors, but I do have some remarks here. Whereas the brown-reddish part of the flower is very nice, the yellow part, especially the upper right, seems blown out. This also affects the ant. As for the background, the blurred piece is very good, but I find the piece of grass and the leaf behind the flower a bit distracting.

Todas as flores, para mim, tem uma luz mágica. Por isso, a escolha do tema.
Sim, é uma flor muito normal e uma foto também muito normal, mas, para mim uma bela flor e uma boa fotografia.

I'm here at work where I only have Microsoft "Paint", not photoshop, but here it is with just a little more contrast.
I really love this subject. I always find art glass fascinating, and I think other than the contrast, you got this one pretty well. Maybe a little hot above the eye, but my personal taste is that it's acceptable.
Of course, what do I know?

Aluizio, you have a great subject with a great challenge. This image is almost there, but I think it would be improved by being just a touch sharper and with greater contrast. Perhaps in Photoshop, you can adjust the curves and the sharpening to compensate for the scanner? With your permission, I can upload an experiment? Please respond to this image; I'll check it in a few days.
PS: I don't use the rating system, so I didn't present these marks. I leave a frank comment if I have an opinion about an image, just as I encourage others to do with mine.

One doesn't get this kind of grain/noise with Provia 100 - did you add it intentionally, or was it the scanner, or jpeg compression? I wish the light source was positioned slightly more from the front, so that her iris would be visible; right now the eye looks sort of blind.
Could you tell us more about the photo? Why was this a decisive moment? The lighting is somewhat extreme - was this exactly what you were trying to achieve? It gives the image a mysterious atmosphere.

Sorry, doesn't do it for me. Too dark, too grainy and too fuzzy. The highlights are blown out, and even the dark background is grainy.

Uma cascata de orquídeas! Bela curva das flores no fundo escuro. Fico me perguntando se um pouco dos caules aparecendo não causaria um efeito bonito também... Talvez uma sugestão para a próxima foto (não custa tentar). Parabéns!

Outra coisa que temos em comum é fotografar flores. Tenho um verdadeiro arsenal de fotos (com o tempo as colocarei no site).
Aqui a composição ficou excelente, tanto quanto a luz. Ótima escolha do fundo negro, que ressaltou o colorido intenso das flores. No meu monitor as cores parecem um pouco saturadas, mas isso não chega a ser defeito. Acho que a nitidez sim, poderia estar melhor, mas também não compromete o conjunto na minha opinião. Belo trabalho!

The composition is nicely balanced and appealing. The flash is a little too strong; perhaps, if it were reduced by -1EV, it might yield a softer light. Also putting a diffuser it may help.
