Good attempt at the motion capture; you've definitely got the feeling of motion here, and you obviously did the pan as needed, but maybe because of all the overall motion (up and down bumps as well as right-left), the rider just isn't sharp. I don't shoot these action shots myself, so unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions to help here, but maybe someone else with experience will jump in.

Really nice capture here Steve. Being a rather devoted siver halide user, I'm disapointed that it's digital, because it's good...
Back to the image. The scouts really give the photo it's purpose.

lovely motion caught and the reflection makes it more interesting. I might have cropped from below the brown line just above the head.

I like the Reflection. The fact that the Bird's one leg is lifted makes it more interesting.!
One can tell a full story out of the picture.!

Nice composition and misty mood. Maybe the bottom side is cropped a little bit too tight.

I like the story and the silohuette of this image, but it seems also a bit underexposed, and the details are lost. Moreover I think the point of view is not the best one. I'd like to see it a bit more curved.
Good shot anyway.

Why no comments...? DOF is too much low, but composition is good, and there is a strong and dramatic atmosphere...The contrast fence/sea is a bit unusual, I think it's well seen...Perhaps if you would not have added comments...:-)

I don't know. Is she sad, or just thinking? I like the way she has been isolated by the photographer. There are no distractions in the background. Lighting is good, and pose is very natrual. Terriffic!

Yes, a pity seeing her so sad... maybe she feels uncomfortable with her body?
