A polarizer helps very little when facing the sun. It works best at 90 degree angles to it.

Perfect macro. The texture of the plant turns what was otherwise technically perfect and standard into something unique.

No. The mother would call her goslings to her anytime I moved and put some distance between us. Once I realized that there was a only a very conservative perimeter she'd allow me to cross, I just watched them ride off into the sunset.

I'm not a huge fan of the sloped horizon, but otherwise the lighting and reflections are wonderful.
