Just a couple of things: The cup seems to be hovering over the sink and it is too far to the right. It might be better if you use the rule of thirds and place it 1/3 of the way. The dirty sink certainly adds to the lonliness theme

my only criticism is that the lighting could be better on the boy . He fades into the background and your eye is drawn to the balloon.

Nice angle. I don't get the title - it looks like the one man is lighting a cigarette and has paused because the other man is saying something interesting or controversial like 'I want you to kill my ...'. It would be cool if he had lite a match or lighter and was holding it in the air.

i immediately drawn to this - the only constructive critism i can make is that you didn't use the 'rule of thirds' and it's almost in the centre but not quite (from what i've read - a no no)

Hi Ursula,
This looks great i like how you used different pieces of the bridge. I also like the angle you used on this. As for B&W - there is something like about the silver i think.
There are so many great things to photograph in Ottawa.

I've tried this shot and it never turned out as well as yours has - and since my photos were of the exact same buildings i am really jealous

it's the eyes that really get me. They are so big, yet they come out of the darkness, out of nowhere

This makes new think of 2 things (and they might be mean)
1. The form thread about getting permission from the people you photograph :P.
2. How reptiles need to heat up in the sun and will open their mouths to increase the surface area they get sun. hehehe...
