I really like this one. I think it's because most flower/water shots always have black water but yours is a nice nuetral gray tone. DOF is here also good.

I viewed nearly all of your flower photos. Pretty good work for someone new to flower photography. I think this is your best so far. The petals all have some amount of light falling on them. It's a fairly soft lighting with no burnout spots or really dark areas. The background is also very nicely done, the top left of it is dark contrasting the lighter petals and the bottom right is slightly lighter contrasting the darker petals. Well done!!

the composition really works here. the reflection, the shell and the yoke projects a really lively feeling.
my only negative remark would have to be: i wish parts of the yoke weren't overexposed. apologies if this causes any ill feelings.
