I love the effects you gave it, def 7/7 for me. It reminds me of the David Wyland paintings I used to see in honolulu. I swear to you it is as if your looking several diiferent layers of paint. That is how David Wylands paintings are. Dog, give me some tips...

Late to get here... Good shot and edit, I see what you mean by the angle of the blur but I too find it hard to visualize what it *should* be. Maybe more diagonal from the top left.

Great shot. Also great trust between the cat and photographer is evident in the eyes.
Perfect lighting, composition, focus, DOF management and exposure. Excellent post processing.
This an amazing shot for a "point n shoot" digital camera onsidering the auto focus, delay, slow shutter speed and focusing range.
