Blue and yellow always combine well to produce an attractive,eye-catching shot like this one.I'd definately give this another go but,as has already been mentioned,you do need to get a sharp focus somewhere on the image.Personally I'd go for the yellow rind,I quite like the depth of field created in the misty area of large and small bubbles.You could achieve this in photoshop by duplicating a sharp bottom layer and then adding a tad of blur to create that nice misty effect......this has left me with a thirst for a bottle of tonic......pass me a Nordic Mist!!Well the tempretures have been up around 40 degrees most of today...sleep will be difficult tonight!

I actually prefer this one, largely because of the contrasting textures in the two halves. And it's good to see another lemon "addict", and an inventive setup! (Must invest in a meat thermometer...)

It is nice close up image for UF.
But if you would to present it in a gallery show and judgement, I am not sure is good enough as you should improve in some part of your image.

Cool shot. I like that it keeps is guessing. I also like the way the bubbles appear to be "hanging" from the decoration. Very clear great colour. Where do you come up with ideas like this to photograph? Cathy

I love this floral. I like that the flower is not "perfect". It has a lot of character which really adds to the tone of the photograph. Nice capture.

hi, you are definitely inventive with your setup...LOL..would go well in my cobalt blue with sunflower yellow kitchen...there is some vertical streaking between the lemons,but maybe on the glass or scanner noise?...i know the blur is because of glass,but i think comp would be stronger with more contrast,but just my pref
