Wow, great city scape. The B&W really adds mood, and I like the perspective from which you shot. It isn't your average Manhattan shot. Nicely done!

Great angle to hit the shot. I love this view of Manhattan. It is very origional. The clouds really add to it as well.

Really good composition; if I wanted to be picky I'd say you might want a little less sky since it has no clouds, and you could get better tones with the sun at a lower angle. But very strong as is, it suggests open space well.

I've seen many images of this scene, but yours is the best. Starting with the B&W, adding the old dwelling in the foreground and alluding to another in the background, and still including a lot of the lonely open land, you have captured the real feeling of this remote location. Well done!!! I'll be looking for more of your work.

wonderful photo, i like this simplicity presentation of architecture. Architecture not means always only stones, straight lines and square examples...

Hi DeeDee, Very interesting camera angle, and an original idea of making the sky the primary subject of this shot. The grey weather might also call for a B&W conversion. In this case, I think it would work very well. Original shot!
Cheers,
Hugo

Excellent shot. The picture is framed nicely and there's a nice natural movement from the foreground car through the next car and onto the houses in the background. Very evocative.
