Thanks Marco, built layers up in Photoshop... desaturated one of the layers then deleted the colour that was not required...

Trevor Brady that was exactly what I thought. If the sun had been brighter I would have had a shorter shutter speed and therefore would have been sharper...

The hardest thing was looking away with the other eye! I tried it a couple of times and thought it worked better with me looking in the other direction...
