I think it is mineral deposits as this is an outflow from a volcanic spring. The colours are algae living in the hot water

I like the crop but I was more interested in the deep DOF with this photo. The lake wasnt calm enough for a reflection photo for me.

Alway appreciate input.

Excellent shot. Your b&w work is great you seem to have a talent for b&w. Ok am cheating a bit since i have seen you other b&w work. Captures a moment

Wonderful composition and great photo. Just wish the DOP was slightly higher so the back was in focus rather then the legs (although the blue on the legs looks wonderful). A deeper dop would have been best but I know how hard it is to get that with a macro lens :-). Great shot - was it hand held?

Beautiful composition. But there is something a little to blue about the photo. And also there are artifacts onlg the roof lines which is the cameras fault. It is 99% the way to being perfect

Good picture. A little over exposed and you can see the purple fringing on the sky in the whole. Well digital was never perfect but I like it still

I can see the idea, but sorry to say it does little for me. I can see there was something there but the photo does not see what you probably saw.

This is a wonderful photo. I understand the limits of the camera and Paul's edit does add something but also (because of software) adds grain but both are good. I think you could have taken the same photo with a better camera and made it perfect. Just remember it is harder to take the orginal then amend someone elses work.

Perfect. Great colour contrast wonderful composition. Focus could have been slightly forward but detracts very little from the picture at all. I would be proud to have taken this.

Personally sharpness is lacking a little and a greater depth of field would have been nice. Also the photo seems to tilt slight to the left (a fault I manage to do all the time) Maybe a larger appeture would have made the grass look greener - it looks slight washed out.

Fantasic photo. I love the way the road leads you out of the photo and the river back in. It is hard to decide which to follow - wonderful composition

Great lighting in this picture there is a slight off with the focus but this is the camera not the photographer in this case. Wonderful shot

Personally the lava rocks to the left look much better and the it would have been better to frame those, the people distract from the great contrast on the rocks although their red jackets do add to the contrasting colours of the photo

The colours are great but the composition is lacking a little. There is nothing to draw you into this photo to look closer

Excellent composition and idea. The contrast between colours is great but it appears you have edited the photo digitally as some of the highlight appear blown. Just a little too much on the contrast and sharpness enhancement. Oh and what did you use for the background out of interest.

Quick search on the net Humberto. As I read snow fools most metering system in cameras and if you take a shot at standard settings the snow comes out gray. You need to up the exposure between 0.5 and 1 stop for a white look to the snow. Depends on the camera and some sites suggest using blue filters as well.

I see everything as perfect, my only criticism is that you have to many perfect windmill photographs and I am jealous :-)

I love this shot of london, have to be biased because I was there, but not a single shot I took from the same place came out. Great photographer!

Wonderful picture, I am jealous, the only change I would make is if the person was in sharper focus, but I know how it is :-). Thank you for sharing

Love the pose and the colours but I think, if it was possible that the model should have been wearing more contrasting trousers. But a great shot non the less
