) From the thumbnail I thought it was going to be another 'coloured' flower in a group of other B&W flowers. But I was pleasantly surprised! Excelent composition and lighting.

Daz T.

At first glance I thought it needed more contrast. But that's not the point. They're delicate flowers and the photograph makes them 'feel' delicate. Am also impressed with the large depth of field...Excellent.

Daz T.

Very powerful image. The eyes are great, really dark and sharp, with wondeful highlights. Good tone too.

Excellent macro, love the lighting! In England this is known as the lava of the 'Privet Hawkmoth' (Sphinx Ligustri). I only know 'cos I'm trying to name my butterflies!

It's wonderful! Great textures, tone. and image! The statue on the right looks like she's throwing her head back and water is cascading down her neck. Excellent! I would like to see all of her in the frame though.

Good B&W from original angle. Not sure I like the blurred barbed wire in the foreground, but love the way the eye is drawn to the dot in the distance made by the razor wire.
