That's what I call original . . . taking disparate elements and making a cohesive whole out of them. Nice composition and variety of tones.
Yes, the fisherman was scanned (I forgot to include that data)by my new Nikon Coolscan V ED. I used digital ICE but there was plenty of grain to come through anyway. We used to think Kodachrome was fine grained!

I love the intensive vibrant and vivid color. I would attempt this same photo, but replacing the objects in a position to present questions or meaning.

hi there,David - well i see that you "play" quite a bit and thank you for inspiring comments regarding that i play with my "Rain Bells"...will give it a try...and yes, i am J.Hendrix's biggest fan from back-in-the-day and still...like the strangeness of this pic and thought they were barrettes (female eye)...the colors are great and like comp/lighting,especially the highlights on lures...Gayle

For some reason, I enjoy finding obscure objects to shoot. What was the meaning of placing this there ???? Who was the person(s) and what was the meaning or feeling for doing so. I do believe that inanimate objects do project the life force of the placer...
This was an interesting find, I hope I captured it's essence.
