Lovely rich mixture of colours here and the arrangement of pieces is perfect. Lovely work ;)

I've taken it from exactly the same spot! It really is a very photogenic place. I like the toning and the detail in the rocks is superb.

Great idea. Difficult to choose what to keep and what to lose. I'd like to see the fork a bit larger but that would take away the sweep of the clouds along the jib, or the lobster pot. Difficult one, though I suspect a nice large print will look a lot better than the small screen image.

What a wonderful image. There are so many stories in this picture. It makes you want to look longer and know more. Excellent work Bogdan!

Lovely! Composition is perfect and I love the very amusing angle. I particularly like how the camera is the only thing straight and level in the shot. Nicely done!

Stunning portrait. Lovely expression and lighting. I'd prefer the lips to be monochrome though, as I think the tinting detracts slightly from the strength of this image. Perhaps a touch less sharpening too, as there seems to be some pixelation of the hair. I really like this shot a lot but feel the post processing has been slightly overdone.

Super stuff John! The detail on this is absolutely amazing, despite the limitations of a scanner. I'm sure the shadow detail on the real print is as rich as the midtone detail in the scan.

You have so many beautiful punchy colour shots but this really stands out for me. The moodiness of the scene is accentuated by the toning and your choice of film stock gives so much detail. I bet the print of this is awesome

This image has a lovely feel to it. I love the close crop and the short depth of field really helps to bring out the emotion in the smile.

Excellent use of wide angle and perfect exposure. I love the way the shadows give a three-dimensional effect to the roof and how the overall muted tones are contrasted with the glow from the lights. The slight motion blurr in the people gives the image life. Excellent atmospheric image taken in demanding lighting conditions. well done.

I like this. There are some great reflections on the water from all the different coloured lights. I reckon if you cropped this to a panoramic format by removing the sky down to just above the building on the right it would make a stronger composition.

Excellent work. The model's dreamy expression works really well. The dark area on the right is just a little too dark for my liking but otherwise a great shot.

Sorry! It was a shoot through brolly not a snoot I used for this shot. Sorry about the quality of the scan - I have a crappy old HP flatbed that is no good for anything.

Excellent, evocative shot. This reminds me of those powerful wartime images of the lost boots of soldiers. There are a hundred stories in this picture and the strong contrast adds to the strength. Nice work!

Poor Frosty has no arms to hold his lady ~ so his frustration and depression is magnified by having her so close ~ hence the sad expression on his face ~ and his droopy nose!

Beautiful composition. The model's expression is perfect for the mood of the shot. A touch more contrast would make this shot perfect.

This was a very blue image anyway and I've only tried proper cross-processing a couple of times. I heard Fuji (especially Velvia) tended to come out greenish so I went for Kodak EBX because it was recommended in a magazine. I don't think this is a perfect impression of the results with EBX but I also don't remember any specific colour cast. I'll have to try to find the real cross-processed stuff and post something for comparison.
