So unusual! Art in nature, photographed in such a way, that it seems that it is created out of... noise!
You captured pattern creation out of chaos, one of the most amazing discoveries in mathematics!
And the old mathematician's heart jumps in joy!
Great!

Excellent work, Gil, and a very sharp eye for seeing what is out there. I would only take that a bit closer, but I guess that this is personal taste.
The thing here is: Take a look how the same principle of nature is applied, then applied again on the results of the first application, then again on the results of the second application, and so on, until a wonderful pattern is built up, on the rules of one simple principle.
Wonderful!

A small treasure excellently put in scene! Notice also how the non-focused similarly patterned background enhances the main object of the image, that is kept very sharply in focus!
Congratulations, Gil!

Garold, Foe waterfalls my technique is "bracket exposure times", shoot raw, and learn Photoshop. Depending on lighting, speed of the water, and viewing angle exposure varies in a wide range. And always use a tripod. Keep shooting. Regards, Gil

You take wonderful waterfall shots Gil. I love them and actually went out this morning after seeing them and took some of my own. Well none were as beautiful or as mystical as yours. Will look for more. Maybe you could put some of your techniques in the about area. Shutter speed, Iso etc..... Thanks and good luck.

Ron it's really dark in that redwood forest so I did not need a ND filter. Don't remember the exposure, fstop about 18-22 for DOF exposure between 1/5 to 1.5 seconds. I love being in that forest. Gil
