A great idea, but I am like Kathy about being too centered. Makes a great background for this lovely leaf. Don.

I like cannon cameras. The R1 lens is as good if not better.

I am very pleased with my Sony R1 camera. Three of us bought R1s and we all think it's a great camera. We miss having a longer lens but for telephoto work we can use another camera. The images have a smooth look to them and the camera handles fine in the hand. Good luck. thanks for your comments.

Bless! My dog does exactly the same thing, but only when she wants something! This made me smile because I know what it's like to see dogs do this in my own house!

Another rincrible and fantastic light and color...
I have noticed here in your all portofolio you have great experience with very good digital cameras.I have an small Ixus700 and i am thinking buy another camera with manual modes and more angular lens.I am thinking in a R1 from Sony or a Kodak Easyshare P880.How performer is the R1 compared with the other cameras you use here.Do you like the R1???
my best regards

I really like this one, Len, the brilliantfallen leaf in the puddle reflecting its stillclinging siblings. The bright color against the essentially black and white ground is also very well seen and caught.

What a cool effect, Gil, with the reflection of the trees behind the leaf! Personally I think I would crop out a good portion of the area on the left, just to take the leaf out of dead center. But that's just me

I do like the composition and presentation on this shot. The DOF sets off the little bud so beautifully. You have a before and after here, so we can "see" what this little bud will "grow up" to be in a few days. Colors are really nice and everything that is suppose to be in focus is in focus. Well done. The lines in this are very appealing. I like the way the leaves seem to be separating to allow the viewer to go deeper into the picture. Good crop.

Your wave pictures are well taken. You show the energy and strength of the water so wonderfully. I can hear the water splashing.
