i love it. i love her expression, and i love the fact that she's looking into the light. the slight underexposure makes this one especially dramatic. this is a picture that says so much. bravo

Thank you all for your kind words. Murat, I agree with you that the light would look better in red, but when I took the shot, i wanted to include the tracers from the taillights of the nearby Ford Explorer (you can make out the lines above the cart on the right), so I had to make a quick decision, and I thought having the green is a sacrifice I'd have to make. It does, however, add some contrast... thanks again

nice shot. i'm especially fond of the different colored lights in the magenta background, not to mention the gentleman's facial expression. pretty funny picture; bas must be a character

nice job on a tough shot (for me anyway). how did you manage to capture the fireworks without being bothered by ambient light? You really caught some nice colors in this one.

really interesting shot, but i dont know about the enhanced colors? i feel my focus being drawn from the hole and the marble to the bottom area where the large splotch of red is... maybe if the saturation were applied in varying degrees, with the most at the subject, it would help me to portray what you saw here. definitely original and surreal though, nicely done.

Kim,

This is a lovely picture. His eyes are incredible. Lovely model, and lighting.
Also, Thank you for your helpful feedback on my photo. I appreciate it .
However, what do you mean by "bracketing"? I am fairly new, please bear with me.

Ricardo,

The original is beautiful, just as I suspected. Really nice focus and lighting. What a privilege to have this in your garden. Thank you for the comment on my photo; I agree, the lighting on that one is terrible. Somebody suggested I should bracket the lighting, but, being a newbie, I have no idea what that means? Please take a look at my other pictures (there's only two of them) and let me know what I can do to improve.

wonderful colors, lighting, and subject. the warm sunlight contrasts perfectly with the cool blue stone of the steps. the only thing i'm unsure of is the tilt to the right? great shot.

Rick,

It's absolutely wonderful! I love the use of color to emphasize the subject. Wow... can't put it into words. I'd like to know where you took it.

Ricardo,

I can't help but feel that the flower's natural beauty is lost in the digital effect. I'm sure the shot is beautiful in itself, and I would love to see it in its pure form. Nice angle and lighting. Very original.
