Very well captured. Excellent spotting of the location.

This image will be even better if you had included some subject doing something like - people walkin, dog runnin etc. Images like this one without a dynamic action will look bland.

I added a cyclist to show the effect. The work is not perfect but still show the point.

Regards,
ken.

Thanks Eddy, I agree, it is not ver sharp. Could be shooting through the windsheild or it could be me. I've noticed my eyes are not what they used to be and I don't know if I have to compensate for that on my camera. I just loved the color of this. It was an unusual morning. If you've ever been through a tonado (which this storm was NOT) the colors are just amazing right before or after and this looks a lot like that. Thanks again.

Beautiful photograph!!! I love the way the warm color of the road abstracts against the cool color of the sky. I feel like I am standing right in the picture looking down the road!! Very well done.

What a clever idea and a worthy cause. There is a lot to dig in this image and you should be applauded.

where the buffalo roam is a great place to work... sure beats having to deal with the morning commute & being stuck in traffic.

Great DOF and the tones are ok as well and I think this could have been cropped a little tighter on the left of the frame Megan you have some amazing work thanks for sharing.

Thanks for responding Hugh. I'm so touched that my words were able to help you through something. Another example of how we are right were we are supposed to be. I'm glad you've chosen to go on with your work. It may seem like nothing is being accomplished but if you look at it on a micro scale, you are making a difference in certain individuals lives. You may not be able to single handedly solve homelessness but your presence will alter one life at a time. Keep on it...you're needed.

Best regards,
megan

Megan, I am so sorry for not replying sooner to your comment on my image 'Subway Blues', but I have come to a point where I am up against a wall with no help from the local authorities not even the recognition that there is a homeless crisis in London.
I am so hurt that all my work seems to have been in vain and that those that I care for have been abandoned by the society in which they exist as if they were nothing more than ghosts.
I almost gave up and was toying with the idea of just calling it a day and then I saw your comment.
you are right I am where I am supposed to be and I will fight harder for those who can't because if I don't who will?

Heirlooms, this is what it is all about the land (the foliage) and its waters (The carafe) for without them there can be no life.

Nice colours and well composed

No need to practice - I think that you have mastered it! The photo is in fact very simple, but it stands out from the rest of today's posts. As insignificant as it is, your signature block is also very "elegant".

What a cool photo. I'm not a huge flower fan, but this shot has a lot of character and it looks like something out of an art magazine.

Les photos N+B sont moins appréciées du public en général mais plus ?artistiques?; en tout cas celle-ci l'est. Forte et délicate, celle d'avant est douce et évanescente.

This gives such elegance to a humble dandelion in it's 'puffball' stage. Great background to use, I did convert my puffball image to B/W which was interesting but because of playing in P/S it was nowhere near as effective as this. Really excellent. I also like you other puffball image very much, but I think this one is special

Megan, a wonderful close-up, the simplicity is beautiful. I even like the way that you signed your name. By the way, I'm still aboard the Morningstar. I will be back stateside in Augest at my Texas studio. I live half the year in the Caribbean and the other half in Texas.
All my best, James
