Thanks for posting the detail - would be nice to see the original print of course. Seems like a wide border for the expensive process you are using. Great stuff!

this is what the original print looks like- cyanotypes inherently have high contrast. the images are a little lighter than what I would prefer, they are easily washed out in water (you can see some staining in the top of the bottom image). Thanks for your comments!

You got very good contrast and a great subject for this print. Did you edit for that after the scan, or is this pretty much what the print looks like? I'll check back here later.

Caroline, Very nice technique. Here is a link to some info on 35mm film in a Holga. I still have scratching problems but will keep working on that. Good luck, Tim

Hi Caroline
Excellent cyanotype, very good result from a very tricky process. Wonder if FP4 would increase the contrast any to give more DOF. and tidy up the grain a touch. Look forward to more.
Regards
Cliff

Oh my gosh - I feel so sad looking at this... In regards to the "series" in my portfolio, THIS might be a powerful series with a few of these types of pics side by side.

I wouldn't mind resting in peace there :-)! Or taking pictures amidst the sleeping souls!Great architecture! A 100ASA would have done better justice in terms of the resolution.
