Unusual composition, seems a bit 'top-heavy'.
(Which is not bad, it adds to the tension).
Interesting abstract image.

Wow! This is extremely cool. Especially considering this is from Tennessee. Your file seems a little too dark. The "auto contrast" feature in photoshop and a very very minor level adjustment really helps your file. I'll bet this is truer to your image than the file you uploaded. Very nice long exposure!

Great capture Robert. Perfect timing. I agree with Dre regarding the cropping. Thanks for the nice critique of Waiting for the Sunset as well as your advice on Vigneting.

Ive looked at this for awhile.Im glad you took this in color. the contrast is too low for BW...the greys would have had equal value. love the muted tones of yellow-green and blue-green.theres a lot gong on. the water looks cold and refreshing. I spend a lot of time in New Hampshire and the Pacific NW. has that same feel.
sincerely

Hmmm... Forget the technical stuff... It's only because there is no one familiar in there !!!!!
And I agree with Lisa... People screaming in the kitchen while the house is flying would be soooooo cool !!!!

Bah... I think I'm tired now and I really should do like your sun now... Jump on my boat and go through the underworld !!!

Onur , usually with these type of shots I shoot in aperture priority mode and adjust until the shutter speed is about 1 sec. with a +/- 1/2 stop bracket as well . This way I get some depth of field without having to worry about reciprocity . I don't remember for sure but I think the aperture was between 8 and 11 . I always seem to loose some sharpness with the scans of my slides and at this point I have no way to do any editing other than desaturation .

Charles , I agree with your comment about the sun being centered . Unfortunatly if I panned left or right there were some other distracting elements in the scene . Thanks to all for the comments .

Very good shot ... great colored sky.
I just think the centered sun is not the better composition ... maybe if it was place out-of-centre the photo would look better.

Sorry to tell it But maybe wrong aperture ? It's way too high. I believe it's not over f/4.0 . Maybe you could get it up to f/6.2 or f/8.0 ; than your shutter could be more than 1/10 or even 1 second.

Still very nice on my opinion
