Hi Angelo,in PS I pulled a tinted grad over the bright white of the sky...used about 20% unsharp mask,and increased the saturation slightly probably by 2or3,so perhaps the boss wins this roundjust depend how serious you are going to be about what I consider subtle cosmetic changes!!!! and I was using a poleriser on the camera,I always do 90% of the time.

Please help settle a domestic argument: were any filters used either on the camera or in Photoshop for this one?
I say no, the boss says yes.

Thank you, I'm glad you braved the conditions, the green of the water and the choppiness of the waves really tell the story of the day.
You're right it doesn't make me homesick, but it does bring back memories of ice cold days in that area.

Hi Bruce,yes we did go part way up Mt. Hutt (nothing exciting there) but ended up at day Lake Herron!!!!quite dramatic winter conditions will post one next specially for you!!!!!!!I was the only one getting out of the car the oldies (Tup & Coral) could not hack the pace

The composition works well with the strong verticle of the Cordyline linking the land, sea and sky. I can just detect a hint of the evening pink shadow coming up above the fog bank.
