Brenda, I was feeling so depressed because my picture of the two priests was being ignored, so you can imagine how much your comment encouraged me. And then when I visit your portfolio I find this gorgeous photo has only oney comment! I've said before how much I envy you your wonderful skies there in Australia... this is incredible! And that line of trees in silhouette and the foreground grasses give it great strength. Keep 'em coming...

So do I, Brenda! In fact I have a very similar shot buried somewhere in my portfolio... with some red flowers on just ONE of the balconies to add a touch of interest. Looking UP really gives you a new angle on things. I wish we had some of those glorious sunrises and sunsets you have in Australia... you've got so many great shots of them. I'm glad you liked my "teahouse and lake" shot. I'm really fond of it myself. But have you noticed how our own favourites aren't necessarily the ones that most people like enough to comment on? I suppose it's a good thing we don't all have the same tastes. The world would be a duller place if we did. My own tastes are broadening under Usefilm's influence and I'm even learning to take PEOPLE. If not yet actually learning to ENJOY doing it. [grin]
