Querido Hugo, me gusta mucho tu visión: has captado a gran escala una perfecta imagen de una clave de bajo ("bass clef"). La granularidad y los azules tonos y el negro borde trabajan juntos para darle un rico y elegante aire a tu presentación. Una muy original composición mi amigo...se te aprecia..un abrazo... Linda

Hugo, Me agrada como el bote hace paralelo con las vigetas de el decrépito muelle, y aún más como has completado la diagonal de la composición con trés elementos: los marcos de el muelle, el caso de el bote, y las montañas en el trasfondo. Me gusta como la luz refleja en las ondulantes aguas, y también los colores con el acento de la bandera de Chile. Tus talentos artísticos se lucen en esta apacible imagen. Hugo, this is perfect! The composition is great, but what really draws me to it are the colors and the textures-- they're so lush and rich. Absolutely beautiful.

Hugo this is a very interesting and engaging image..I like the subject matter and I think the sepia tones are very effective in terms of adding to the drama: the sense of being old and broken down, dreary, and abandoned. I get a very strong and abrupt feeling to stay away. The chipped, cracked, and missing pieces of stucco add to the effect. I like the contrasting tones of light and dark, and the textures as well. And you captured it very well..when I saw the thumbnail, my first thought was, 'and fairy tales do come true'...then I saw your title...It's a wonderful subject and a wonderful image. The colors of the castle contrasted against that gorgeous blue sky are beautiful, the bird adds a majestic touch and I love the delicate greens and the fragileness of the little trees positioned at the foot of the castle...I think the reflections are marvelous. I thought that perhaps the silhouette of the tree on the left could have been cropped out, but I think doing that would have taken away from the realism of this image, making it too perfect and perhaps contrived, I think it also gives the birds flight into the image more impact...and it makes a good frame. Did you add the bird Hugo? I only ask because he looks backlit..A wonderful image, beautifully presented...un abrazo Linda

Wonderful moment beautifully captured and rendered. I looked back at the first submission (this is the longest time between submissions I've ever seen -- 8/03 to 2/05!). It underscores that it is never too late to rethink things. Back to your photo...the color effects are very nice as they add vibrancy to the image, but I also like the appeal of the more subtle mood in the first one. How did you get this angle? Were you at the top of another ride? Well, gee I've chatted it up quite enough now. Cheers.... Antonia
