Well, in my opinion there's a little too much blue. The water looks unnatural blue to me. And the peer looks a bit too dark, at least to me.

But... I like the composition and equality of tones. Not a bad picture afterall.

I think in colour this picture would give away it's subject, so the B&W works VERY well here!

Very nice!

Kind regards,

Michaël.

Very nice taken. I like the softness in this capture. Too bad she's smoking. In my opinion it takes away the sweetness the picture breathes.
But technically very well done.

Nice composition. Too bad the top of the bottle is a bit out of focus. But I like the idea.

waauw! Very beautiful!
Did you post-process it with Photoshop or is it the original?

Nice colours, too bad the foreground is a bit out of focus (or did you intentionally..?)
I think you used a high ISO-setting because of the grainy look of the photo.
But overall, very nice..

Yes, I saw the cat. But I think there is a bit too much street in your composition.
Overall a nice picture.

Hi Becky!

No, it?s not the original image. The original one is extremely red. The only alterations I made so far is a 180? rotation and change of color in combination with a change of brightness/contrast. The subject is a shadow of a glass bowl with reflections of light.

Regards,

Michaël.

Wonderful picture, Kaj. I suppose it is your backyard? ;-)
With these colors the picture looks like an oilpainting to me...

Goede morgen Teunis en Sante,

Nee, dat was niet vanmorgen maar een week of twee geleden. Het is die dag trouwens mooi weer gebleven...

Bedankt voor jullie commentaar en ratings.

Groet,

Michaël.

Hi Alexander,

I think that people don?t experience emotional appeal because your subject is an abstract one. Think of a picture of a cute little baby and 99% of the viewers will probably experience emotional appeal. Or think of a picture of a sad old man... In short, I think the solution is in the subject.

I for one like your picture very much. What?s the source you photographed? It looks rather spacey to me...

Regards,

Michaël.
