C hongyaw, I like this photo very much. The foreground tree, the wooden bridge, the background cloud all compose this gorgerous photo. Wonderful.
BTW, you seemed to be in everywhere of Borneo! --Eric

Although it is a groomy picture, it does show what the author's purpose. Right? I like the cloud, the road, the square brick object in the foreground, and those low building at the end of the road and the field. They all compose this great picture. It provides inspiration of how photos of this kind taken. Thanks and congratulation. --Eric

Maria, My camera was bought in 6 of March this year. Just within two and half a month, I have taken 2783 photos. The number I told you before was wrong, misled by Panasonic. Regarding the spider picture, I kind of like this one. It has a creepy feeling. I used a small torch to like up the spider. The following one was shot using internal flash. Although it is brighter, but it has lost the creepy feeling. Anyway, thanks all for commenting my photo. --Eric

Thanks all comments. --Eric

It reminds me that a month ago, we were there. We sat at the table which was just behind this life ring exactly. I did not take the photo as you did. This is a nice picture. Manukan Island I think is the best place among other islands around that area for snorkeling. I took some underwater photos. Maybe later I upload one or two for sharing. --Eric

C hongyaw, This is really nice night shot. The angle you chose showed your thoughtfulness. Regarding the rafflesia flower, yeah, we were lucky to see. We drove to the Rafflesia Centre, which is south-east of KK. It took us about two hours to be there. The guide there led us to the flowers area. At the time we were there, there were two blooming flowers. According to the guide, this kind of flowers are different from those in Mt. Kinabalu, which have bigger size and bad smell. Let us take more good photos. Cheers. --Eric

So tempting. You know, I was in KK during this Easter holidays with my family, which was our second time in KK. Last time, which was four years ago, we took the tour to Mt. Kinabalu; but we've never been to the summit; we just went to the park. Maybe next time I will try climbing this mountain. This is very nice shot. Congratulation. --Eric

Raamese, I should have looked at your other photos before commenting on your "coming home" one; then I should have not asked where you stood to take that picture. With this one, it shows us an interesting view. after looking at this one, I will ask you whether with these four giant ship carrying thousand of people embarking this small island are full of tourists making it noisy place. Did you feel that way? --Eric

Let me try to comment on this photo--1) as a viewer myself, I did not focus on the boat, which seems to be your focus as said in your title; my eyes fell on the church and the town ( you might have other photos fit the title.) 2} the middle white building is too bright, but I do not know how to avoid this. You must be on the top floor of the big ship to take this photo; therefore, I would have experienced the same problem to angle that boat as to fit the title. What do you think of my comment. As said in other place, I am newbie. Do not take this so serious. --Eric
