Wow! That's vandalism on some grand scale! I take it no one lives there now?

Interesting perspective. I was there yesterday! The new yellow one was great.

I agree with Gustav about making sure the hood was shut all the way.

Excellent street shot with a hint of mystery! I disagree with Antonio AND Malik. I think the color is right, just that there is a bit too much of it. IMO cropping a bit from the right will heighten the impact of this shot.

Very nice street shot - almost! Too bad about the wires(?) in the foreground.

Great colors.

Very sharp image of a magnificent animal. Like the tones. I'd have preferred a bit more room in the foreground. Also, why not keep the color? May be you can post the color version independently.

Thanks Vinay. It was just a family vacation in San Diego. There's some fun stuff there. The Zoo is internationally regarded as one of the best and the Wild Animal Park is just fantastic. Now let me stop before I start sounding like the San Diego Tourism Board:-)

Lovely shot, Claude. I like the strong asymmetric composition.

Beautiful macro work. Great colors, texture. Effective use of DoF constraints. Very nice lighting.

Lovely composition with the overhanging branches and the massive tree anchoring the right.

Nice composition with the diagonal convergence. For me the architecture is very unusual with the roof lines perpendicular to the front of the house.

Nice composition. Very unusual for us in the northeastern US to see a running fountain in the winter.

Nice composition. The contrast between the masses of bright colors and the near-monochrome of the lady is very striking and poignant.

Nice candid documentary shot.

Doesn't look like a 30 second exposure though:-)

Nice depiction of old-time small-town America. A bit of straightening (tilting to the right currently) will improve this greatly. Also, if you had kept a bit more of the image to the left so that the entire name showed on the roof I think it would be much better.

Very effective perspective. Portrays a sense of strength. Also, wonderful use of the out-of-focus top of Terminal Tower (I guess that's what it is?) as a backdrop.

Steve, sometimes I wish I worked on a reserve:-) This was taken in the San Diego Wildlife Park from a moving tour train. The train route is several miles long and the train sometimes lurches unpredictably which makes shooting, especially with a long lens, pretty hard. I will try re-cropping this from the original and will repost.

Wonderful, as usual. Would you write up a brief tutorial on how to achieve your framing with the subject overflowing in cerain directions only? Or is that a trade secret?:0)

Very nice land/seascape Love the colors of the lighthouse. I wonder what the "oelisk" on the right is. Is it an older lighthouse?
