Not sure when I'll be back in Cleveland, Stephen, but I do still have close friends there and one of these days I'll make the trip. I'll let you know when I do if you email me at amitava@optonline.com

Actually, I believe there are four, including two little ones. The second kid (literally:-) is a little hard to spot, especially since it is quite dark. The contrast was very high and they are very well camouflaged. I don't envy the new staff at the park who get assigned to daily head counts of these animals.

Steve, Thanks for the kind words. Yes, they can be quite vicious, especially towards their prey or towards each other:

That's probably just a couple of juvenile males practising what will be a real fight for a mate in a few years.

They are, in turn, preyed upon by orcas, which can also be quite deceptively cute, as at Sea World:-)

Why no comments before? Sometimes Usefilm makes me angry. You shoot great photos. The title here is PERFECT. At first I thought they were just rocks in the background....

Looks just like a fat old man on a beach with too much factor 5 on. Brilliant!

Hi Amitava, catching up slowly & backwards....

This is so cute, hard to believe these guys can be so vicious when the mood takes them (I think I'm right?)
Regards
Steve.

Thanks Vinay. It was just a family vacation in San Diego. There's some fun stuff there. The Zoo is internationally regarded as one of the best and the Wild Animal Park is just fantastic. Now let me stop before I start sounding like the San Diego Tourism Board:-)

Very nice textures and values here. You can almost reach out and touch the gritty surface. The two people in the bottom work great, helping to monumentalize the columns and the idea.
