Hi Brian,
This photo is a beauty. Your hopper looks like he may be on a blade of Aztec grass. The grass in itself is very pretty. I don't know why more people haven't view and rated this photo. I linked to your portfolio from a question you asked in the forum. You asked a question I've been trying to get answers to. I even went live chat with HP but the guy knew less than I do about the HP 945. All I am trying to find out is: can 55mm filters be use on the lens of this camera without an adapter? And, if not, why is an adapter necessary? I see your shot was taken with the HP 850. Do you have a 945 yet?
Regards,
Jimmy

Very charming, Brian, and very good Photoshop work. What wonderful colors to contrast with the b/w. And she is a little cutie pie, I bet she loves dressing up. Your composition was chosen nicely, I really like your sister off to the left and running out of the frame, this gives the photo some dynamic impact and really engages the viewer. The distance from your lens to the scene must have been right on, it's a very smooth digital pic, not much noise. Nicely done.

I like this picture a lot. The composition is wonderful in many ways. Nicely turning road, the line of lamps, the ship behind the bay... So many things to look at. Toning is sophisticated and smooth.

I'm not too sure I would buy them becuse of the bugs and they look kindda funny, but what do I now? Maybe they're good. What are they?

Thank for the comment. I guess it was 2s but I never write it down and I keep forgetting.
I just take many shots and kill the ones which I don't like.

Regards,
Hanna

lonely road, yes brian, but where is the drama? and then, may i propose you look for the horizontal line to be corrected? there also seems to be a lack in sharpness, can that be from scanning?

Interesting capture. Next time, you may want to take a few steps back, to get the girls' feet into the frame, and compose as to fully include the boy. I also think you could darken the low tones to increase the contrast.
