Im surprised no one has commented on this picture yet. Its a beautiful shot! I love how youve used the darkness vs the light. Extra plus for the very sharp 'veins' in the fruit.

Jeffrey, the reason why you might not be feeling this picture is probably because I wanst planning on this idea when I took the picture. See (edited) information above. Like I wrote to Bradley, I made a poor photo a little less poor.
Hm. At least I tried.
But YES, I think its an idea to work on, and keep striving to make the surroundings better, and change her clothes etc, to make the photo be... more. Yeah.

Yeah, I think so too. The idea to make her B/W didnt occur to me until months after having taken this photo. We were only goofing around, taking all sorts of pictures.
This was my way of making a bad photograph good. But youre right about a more colorful surrounding would make the image stand out more.
