The character is great and the raised left foot adds an element of dynamism to what would otherwise be a very static shot. However, the image is tilted to the left, the light is a bit too harsh for my taste (I know, it's the tropical sun), the background is a tad busy, and there are too many scan-induced (presumably) dust spots. If you can clean up the dust spots, correct for the tilt, and dodge the left side of the man's face, this would improve dramatically, IMO.
