This is superb, you should think about giving up your day job and going into business. When I need advice on PS I will definitely be asking yours.

Great shot, no burn out here - completely natural. Keep up the great work.

Cindi, your work is great, I was spoilt for choice on which cool shot to click on to leave my reply to your comment on my work. Thanks for you constructive comments on my shot, they were all welcome and taken onboard for the future. I'll also be checking back on your work for inspiration.

Cheers

Stefan,

Saw your comment on my shot so had to cheek out your portfolio. I'd have to mirror your comment on my shot for 'intensity', a truly cool pic.

I think the reflection is good but personally think the shot would've been better with no one on the beach at all, a kind of 6am shot just after sun up.

Sven, I think you should replicate this shot for all the big brands and forward them to their respective PR departments. You'll be set-up for life mate.

Hi Mandy,

I personally think the stretched look is what you were going for to bounce off the other underlying picture. I assume the little girl is still a seperate later. If so the best thing to do would be to create a layer mask on the same layer as the girl and then use a paint brush with a low opacity to effectice reveal the background (in this case the picture below). You will get a much better blend using this technique. It would also work well on your Dolphin picture.

Regards,

Rich I

Wicked shot Tom, love it. You remind me of me. I just bought a 10d and have done much experimenting whilst reading the manual. Keep up the good work.

Hi Mandy, Nice shots, as you suggest however, the PS lets it down a little. I recommend getting an instructional DVD on PhotoShop (it's the only way), and to be honest once you've master a layer mask you can get a half decent result. Try www.softwarevideo.com.

Very sharpe capture of the mic and good depth of field. I believe I gigged at the place this photo was taken in last night, although my SM58 is slightly more abused.
