The beauty of the desert. You have a lifetime project right in your backyard. At different times of the day the desert look so very different.
Well done

My favorite of all times. In Main these grow wild . We forget they exist when living in cities where you see so many varieties of cultivated roses. Lovely.

What a good idea you pursued. Bringing out the beautiful and carefully designed mall meccanical staircase. The light, colors and angle all contribute to make a solid object into an ephemeral, floating path to the sky. Well done. I think one could use this as an illustration in many of stories I've liked.

You can draw.. this is fantastic to have such a gift. I do hope Kita you will pursue this. Don't let it go to waste. Some of us do care.. when we see talent. Happy Sunday

Not a question of rules, Jorge. I too, am old enough to sort out what works for me in general. No argument there. Still, looking at the picture I was feeling somewhat quizie as if on a boat.. a sort of rocking motion..and wondered why.. in fact looking at it again, I get the feel that the pictutre is folding inside from the center..interesting which ever way you look at it. By the way all this is interesting documentary at any rate. Take good care

The slantic in the picture is strange to my eye.. Was it really like this? There is no define horizon to make up my mind? let me know? thanks

Oh the beauty. Would I love to have one of those!!You caught him in a perfect place: with lots of grass and water.. a little paradise for this big lovable beast.

Yes it does have the feel of a painting. I simply enhanced the existed colors to stress that effect. It's such a beautiful place. More of that place later on. Thanks for the time and comments John. Any new shots from your end?

Another great variety of textures. Even though most of the picture is of stones there is a very warm and comfortable feel about the entire composition. Very nice.

All those symbolic images blend very well. I would love to hear your interpretation of it all. The softness of the overall colors contrasts beautifully with the harshness of some of the images. The overall warm feel is very pleasant though and you've managed to get that rich glow one finds in Dutch Masters of old. Well done

carefully composed to add opposites... I had to stop and think and look a second time to appreciate it fully. Clever balancing act. Good one

the sun reflected in the water adds to the overall picture in this instance. I am with you there. It's a wonderful shot, clear and well composed, with a great variety of textures and subtles tones of greys, blues and whites. Very nice.

What an extraordinary place. The overall blue/grey color of the shot gives it an additional airy feel. I hope you took more pictures at different angles. That is a fantastic corner to photograph. Most of us are totally ignorant of what it takes to get salt.. the most common ingredient everyone uses. Well done

It's a beautiful composition and idea... youth in any costume exhuds beauty no matter what. However, her hands on her hips, does not suggest the period of the costume... Was it intentional?

Very effective - the center shows just a little bit of pink but leaving most of it in B&W. What a clever idea.

Cool to try this.
Scotland is over our waves every Tuesday night with a series called "Monarch of the Glen". Your Castle is almost identical to that one!!! It gives us some wonderful feel of the scenery and the language. The other series is called "2000 acres of Sky" and is filmed in one of the most Northern Oakney Islands that looks very much like North Ronaldsay. It's breath taking.

We all agree this is serious business - it's all over the faces of the watching public. Good shot from many respects. But your sense of humor is the best aspect of it all Kita. Every other year I spend 2 weeks in your part of the world and I love it.

What a wonderful idea. May I suggest the following cropped picture? The white was really distracting. What do you think?
